"Freedom from poverty is not a matter of charity or luck; it is a right" - Rahul Gandhi, AICC General Secretary
"In keeping with the commitment made by the Congress Party the right to Information Act is a historic legislation passed on 15th June 2005. Earlier, there was a weak Freedom of Information Act. Now, in keeping with our belief that information is an entitlement, we have a strong Right to Information Act whose theme is greater disclosures." - Sonia Gandhi, AICC Prsedent

About Us

We are the supporters of the Indian National Congress party. If you ask, "And how are you going to prove that?”, our answer will be "We don't know!" and we don't feel the need to prove it either. We are not the members of the party itself, yet being representatives of the Youth of Independent India, we support the Congress party.

I am not alone, we are a team, and we often wonder why we support the Congress over any other party. But after an in-depth analysis and pondering, we realized – and now even know for certain – that the Congress has an unparalleled, glorious history. The great leaders of the Congress, past and present, have always tried to unite every one with them and work together as an unbiased team.

I posed the same question to some of my friends who too swear by the Congress. It was a very simple question "Why don't you support anyone else?". Some said that is because they don't like other parties, but most of them concurred that they too felt the way I do.

Then a thought came to my mind – every one is talking about the past and character of the party and its leaders, but what about the work done by the Congress in the past five years? I tried to gather and recount all the achievements of the Congress over the last five years and not surprisingly, I was overjoyed to find that the list was long and highly substantial! So we regaled and were pleased with ourselves, because we realized that our decision to support the Congress was not wrong.

We thought hard about it and brainstormed amongst us of how we can put this knowledge and realization to a good use for the greatest number. And we hit upon a plan, a plan to do something, to spread this awareness among the youth at large. But a work of this stature needs endless enthusiasm, passion and most importantly, time. We are all professionals and wind up spending most of our day at the office. It’s absurd to even imagine staying home, away from the office to support this campaign and propagate this idea.

And it was then when we arrived at a solution, thanks to the web site of the prime ministerial candidate of one of the opposition parties: a website would be the perfect medium to broadcast our views.

And this site was the result. We initiated our work on the site from that very day and the entire team started preparing the blueprint of the manner and the style in which to present what we so strongly believe in. We received numerous suggestions from friends and well-wishers and it took us three days and nights of hard work to finalize the contents for the site, with a thoroughgoing discussion going behind each and every point we make on each and every page of this site. We tried our best to keep it simple but thorough, while avoiding all controversy because our motive is to spread the awareness of our mission to the maximum number of Indian who surf the net.

We have lots of things to say but we’d rather go back to work on the site for now because we need to really give our best efforts in the making of the site and to make it speak for itself.

We are already getting lots of brilliant suggestions and ideas to improve it and we will definitely implement these changes as we go ahead in its development. Please continue providing us your feedback and then just give us some time to work it into the site.

Yes, we do need your support to make it a grand success!!!!
